I was fortunate enough to receive some gifts from British based brand Dirty Velvet. Dirty Velvet is a design collective focused on producing high quality clothing with designs that offer a creatively different perspective to the mainstream. One of the things I really admire about them is their organically made items with minimal impact to the environment, both pieces I received were made in Britain with organic cotton (which is very rare these days!). They are quintessentially British with thought provoking imagery showing their slightly ‘twisted’ view of humanity.
So, I received their ‘burger tree’ t-shirt which I am a little bit obsessed with. The organic, brushed cotton their pieces are made from makes for some super comfortable clothing while giving it longevity. Their original graphic designs produce strong views of modern life. I also received their ‘top hat’ pullover in dark charcoal, which, again, is super comfortable and effortless to wear. The brand currently keep it simple producing only t-shirts and pullovers in lots of colour and design options. They perfectly combine modernity with practicality. I chose to pair my t-shirt and pullover together with my washed black wide leg crop jeans from ASOS and my adidas originals.
I also felt it was only natural to go and grab a burger from Five Guys in my Burger Tree t-shirt! My partner and I are off to Paris next week so stay tuned for some pics and keep up to date with me via Instagram and Twitter or follow me on Snapchat! (mitchwebb25).
