Winter Break Must Haves

SONY DSCCoat – Woolrich

Wool Cardigan – COS

Fur Charm – Fendi

Chunky Sweater – REISS

So, at the end of February, me and my partner are off to Iceland for a winter break getaway and I couldn’t be more excited. Although, after booking it, it got me thinking – what do I wear!? I’ve never been away in winter so I didn’t know where to start! It inspired me to put together a ‘winter break must haves’ blog post to impart my new found wisdom in appropriate winter apparel!

After some research, the average weather for Iceland in Feb is freezing (honestly, it’s 0 degrees) so I started shopping for some REAL winter clothes. I purchased my coat from Woolrich and I can’t recommend it enough, its 40/60 goose and duck feather down with coyote fur trim on the hood (sourced by SAGA furs). This 100% wool zipper cardigan from COS is great for layering and can be worn again through any season.

My Celiné trio bag is also fantastic for travelling, I purchased my bag before our first trip to Paris. It was summer so I wanted something small and cross body that was worry free but fit my essentials. The trio bag was just that and more! So I’m happy to realise it will also be great for winter.

I’m obsessed with these classic D-Frame sunglasses from Linda Farrow in black frame with blue snakeskin temples. Sunglasses are also a ‘must’ during winter especially when the sun is low. My bobble hat was purchased from and was super cheap for such a great hat, I definitely recommend checking them out!

My favourite piece from my winter must haves is the chunky knit funnel neck from Whistles, it’s the warmest jumper I’ve ever owned, a great fit and can be grabbed at a bargain in their winter sale right now!

Last but not least, skincare is very important. Cold weather dries out the skin, so make sure to use a cream cleanser, like this one from The Body Shop. It has organic tea tree oil to prevent spots without over-drying. Lush have a great moisturiser for men, it has antiseptic honey to soothe and repair any razor burn or dry areas.

So get out there and face the elements!
